That one does not move far geographically may mean that you are moving or you let yourself be moved in another direction. Among other things, I came across some pretty interesting books and not least some interesting films as well in July, where these three/four ones top the list: The Great Beauty; the opening scene alone; outstanding...

Anomalisa; one of the most realistic and human films I've seen in a long time, which is quite bizarre as it is a puppet film; doll cunnilingus anyone?! A Bigger Splash; sexy and delicious film - stunning visually and then with Ralph Fiennes in top form - check his homage to Mick Jagger. Knight of Cups; I considered mentioning but even though I'm art-house indie nerd, Terrence Malick will never be my favorite. I don´t feel his films but maybe you do.
