Official Buddhist Ceremony

Bhutan.

Exciting to officially been appointed as Honorary Consul of Bhutan with a Buddhist ceremony at the Bhutanese embassy in Brussels and now be able to help continue the good relationship that Denmark and Bhutan have had since the 1970s.
This country and its people just keeps growing on me. In addition to the things that some of you probably have read about; that GNH is measured; Growth National Happiness, which incidentally implies a focus on time spent; how to spend your time; job, family, leisure, sleep; there is a fantastic nature; mountains, flora and fauna including tigers, snow leopards and red pandas; then the population is also characterized by a lightness of being, humor and joie de vivre which is very liberating.

Spændende nu helt officielt at være blevet udnævnt som Æreskonsul for Bhutan og det ved en Buddhistisk ceremoni på ambassaden i Bruxelles, for dermed at kunne være med til at fortsætte den gode relation som Danmark og Bhutan har haft siden 1970’erne.
Det land og det folk bliver bare ved med at vokse på mig. Udover de ting som en del nok har læst om; at der måles på GNH; Growth National Happiness, som iøvrigt indebærer et fokus på time spend; hvordan man bruger sin tid; job, familie, fritid, søvn; at der er en fantastisk natur; bjerge, flora og fauna herunder tigre, sneleoparder og røde pandaer; så er befolkningen også præget af en lightness of being, humor og joie de vivre som er meget befriende.
